Dr. Kahan is a graduate of New England College of Optometry. He has been in private practice in the Merrimack Valley for more than 20 years.

Dr. Kahan is one of three co-founders of Bay State Eye Associates. Dr. Kahan also has two different locations of operation. There is the Methuen location and the Leominster location.

Dr. Kahan won the "Best of the Best" award in 2001 for best optometrists in the Methuen area. He also received the silver award from TLC Laser eye center of Waltham MA for excellence in Eye care 2006.

Dr. Kahan has served on the Tufts board of Optometry. He has also been a member of the American Optometric Association and the Massachuetts Society of Optometrists.
